Our house is over 25 years old and over the past several years we have been upgrading and replacing major areas of need. I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for the work of Kirt Byerly, owner of Around the House. Kirt finished a home project for me that was abandoned by another contractor. I am so pleased with the quality of this man’s character and work that I am compelled to write about my experience in working with him.

Kirt Byerly completed a backyard project for me which required a great deal of trim work, electrical, gas, building benches with flower boxes, painting, installing and operating appliances. He completed this extensive list within one work week.

Feeling somewhat frustrated with my previous experience, I needed help visualizing lighting for my deck and patio. I also needed help in deciding what trim would look best for my project. Additionally, I wanted to create unusual benches with flower boxes attached. Kirt is a visionary. He has an artistic eye. He had wonderful ideas which he implemented seamlessly.

Kirt Byerly is the consummate professional. He is on the job when he says he will be there. He works tirelessly. He is available by phone and when he is unable to answer, he returns calls promptly. He is the most accountable, respectful man I could have ever chosen to finish this important project.

If you need any maintenance or repair done in your home and your "honey-do" list is overflowing, I would highly recommend calling Kirt Byerly, owner of "Around the House, Inc." He does excellent work, is fair in pricing, and gets the job done quickly and efficiently with no smoke breaks, phone breaks, weather or other unnecessary breaks. He is actually at your home to get the job done. He did some painting and repair for us and we were greatly pleased with his work, his work ethics and how quickly he got the work done. I have known Kirt Byerly for years. He repaired and repainted an antique armoire that was my great-grandfather’s. The armoire looks like a piece straight out of Pottery Barn at a fraction of the cost. Most recently, I have consulted and relied upon Kirt in my deck replacement. Over the past five years, Kirt Byerly has done numerous projects for us. He has always been very dependable and efficient with all the work he has done. After dealing with numerous contractors/workman during remodels, it's so nice to have someone who shows up when they are suppose to, has a great work ethic and is meticulous in his work!
